Shock Wave – Detroit Michigan’s Rocking Young Talent

I have had the privilege in working with this very talented group. In 2010, Shock Wave had volunteered their time to perform at a charity event held at the All Around Bar located in Taylor Michigan. This event was put together to help raise funds for local drag racer Danny Kirk and his family after losing their 7 week old daughter in a tragic car accent. Shock Wave, in my opinion, is one of Detroit’s finest bands and they care about our community. Hats off to you Shock Wave and keep rocking our souls with your kick ass music!

Garrett Burke Entertainment Helps Fight Cancer

How we feel once we’re diagnosed with cancer is an assortment of emotions. As an adult, we could be angered, frightened, disconnected, mournful, distressed and several more unfavorable feelings.  We make up stories in our head before issues occur and this builds the case worst. There are so numerous resources to discover info about our condition, sites online, all sorts of content with assorted alternatives for treatment, and of course the world that all give their beliefs.
”If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to have hope?  We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell.” -Lance Armstrong
Children, because of their purity, incline to construe with the flow. Their frights are generally induced by their nurtures and other adults that in their life.  They will be frightened when a procedure is being performed but that’s because it’s something new to them.  Children don’t have the know-how to just give up. They just automatically fight back because they don’t have all the life cognition that grownups do to cause them not push like crazy.

As adults, to be capable to fight back we have to study to think like the children. To do this we have to cultivate ourselves to our condition, to the processes that are about to be performed, and likewise to be capable to inquire the proper enquirers of the doctors so we cognize what is occurring. MDs and Oncologists are really occupied and occasionally forget that we the “patient role” may not interpret matters that to them are really straight forward. We have to know our likelihood and percentages, yet recognize that those are only figures and stats. By fighting back we can break the norm and overcome the odds.

Work with Garrett Burke Entertainment and Help Fight Cancer.
